'' My life was full of frustrations and disappointments; I was very desperate and over loaded with tons of responsibilities that I had no choice but to handle" narrates Nadia, a 52- year- old female headed household.  Nadia's husband physical disability left him unemployed with very low pension income. Her oldest son is a part-time- laborer and the two others are in school.

Nadia decided to start a small poultry project and generate income for her family so, she requested a 1000 EGP loan to start the project and successfully repaid it, and then she requested another loan (5000 EGP) to buy different kinds of birds such as turkeys, geese and ducks to expand her project and increase her income for her family.
Although the loans Nadia requested were small, the difference they made to her life was very big. The smile of content on her face is our real reward. She is now able to guarantee her children a decent life and will allow them to resume their education.
